    List of Ingredients




    8 oz uncooked wide egg noodles
    1/4 cup butter
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 cup sour cream
    2 cups diced, cooked ham (1/2 lb)
    1/4 tsp of salt
    1/4 tsp pepper
    1/2 tsp caraway seed (optional)
    1/4 cup dry seasoned bread crumbs
    paprika

    Recipe



    Drop noodles into 6 cups of rapidly boiling water; heat to rapid boil and cook, stirring constantly, for 3 minutes. Cover and remove from heat.
    Let stand covered for 10 minutes. Drain. Heat oven to 350 degress. Stir butter and onion into noodles. Stir eggs into sour cream. Stir egg mixture, ham, salt, pepper, and caraway seed into noodles.
    Sprinkle bread crumbs into greased 2 qt casserole dish and pour noodle mixture into casserole and sprinkle with paprika. Bake uncovered till set, about 45 minutes, and serve from casserole dish, or unmold and serve on a heated platter.
