List of Ingredients
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 2 slices white bread, dipped in water and squeezed
- 1 pkg of dry french onion soup mix
- 6 hard boiled eggs
- green olives
- 2 c beef broth
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine ground beef, raw eggs, and dry soup mix and mix well.
- Place about 2/3 of meat mixture in baking dish.
- Pat in dish, forming a meat loaf and pressing a ditch in the center of the meat loaf.
- Place the hard boiled eggs, end to end, in the ditch with the green olives lined to each side of the eggs.
- Cover the eggs and olives with the rest of the meat mixture, sealing the loaf completely so that the eggs to not show.
- Cover with the beef broth and cook uncovered for 1 hour.
- Baste every 15 minutes with the beef broth.
- When done, let sit out of oven 15 minutes before cutting.
