Ham and Mac Bake
List of Ingredients
1 cup macaroni (or your favorite pasta)
2 T prepared mustard
1/4 cup + 2 T butter
1 cup milk
2 T brown sugar
1/4 cup flour
2 apples sliced
1 cup chopped cooked ham
salt and pepper
1/2 cup or to your liking your favorite cheese (optional)
1 cup bread crumbsRecipe
Set oven to bake at 350 degrees. Prepare the macaroni as directed. In the meantime, in a large skillet melt the 1/4 cup butter, mix in flour, mustard, and brown sugar - stir together until well mixed. Add milk all at once and bring to a boil.. stir in cheese over med-hi heat.
When cheese is mostly melted, add in ham and apples and mix well. In a casserole dish, mix pasta with ham and apple mixture. Mix together the 2 T butter and bread crumbs - sprinkle on top. Bake about 35 minutes - make sure you do not brown the top too much and enjoy!
