Hot Bacon Dressing
List of Ingredients
8 slices Bacon
1 1/2 C (300g) Sugar
3 tsp Cornstarch
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 C (60ml) Water
1/2 C (125ml) White Vinegar Recipe
Heat a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the bacon and cook until evenly brown.
Drain the bacon, crumble and reserve.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the sugar, cornstarch and
salt, and slowly pour in water and vinegar, whisking constantly.
Using a paper towel, make sure to wipe out most of the grease from the skillet. Heat the skillet over medium heat.
Add back the crumbled bacon and pour the vinegar mixture over it.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
Enjoy over a nice spinach salad or vegetables such as green beans.
