Honey Chicken Wings

List of Ingredients
- 3 pounds of chicken wings
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 cup honey
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons catsup
- 1/2 garlic clove, chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder)
Instructions
- Cut off wing tips and set aside. (These can be cooked or frozen to add to soups at a later date.)
- Cut remaining wings into 2 pieces each.
- Sprinkle wings with salt and pepper.
- Combine remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Place wings in a shallow casserole dish and pour above mixture over them.
- Bake in 375 degree oven for about one hour or until chicken is well done and sauce is caramelized.
- Or, place wings in a slow cooker and pour sauce over them. Cook at high heat for 6 to 8 hours.
Final Comments
You can now buy chicken wings already cut and ready to cook. This is a great dish to take to pot lucks.
