    Recipe Introduction

Wash it down with Dr. Pepper or Root Beer!

    List of Ingredients

    • 1 lb. ground beef
    • 1 15 oz. can of Ranch Style Beans
    • 1 8 oz. can of tomato sauce
    • 1/2 cup of chopped onions ( more or less as you like it)
    • 1/2 tsp. minced garlic or 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    • 1 Tbsp. of chili powder (or more if you like it spicier)
    • Salt and Black Pepper to taste

    Instructions

    1. Brown the crumbled ground beef and the onions together in a large frying pan. Pour off the grease. Add the can - liquid and all - of beans, tomato sauce, garlic, and chili powder to the pan and stir. Heat until hot. Add salt and pepper to taste. You can also add more chili powder if you like it hotter. This is a base chili. You can add stuff like jalapenos or green chilis or whatever to make it yours.

    2. Serve with grated cheddar cheese (and/or Fritos) sprinkled on top and cornbread on the side.
