    CRANBERRY ORANGE NUT BREAD

    THIS WAS FROM STEVEN'S THIRD GRADE CLASS WAY BACK IN 1978 !!


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 CUPS FLOUR
    • 1/2 TEASPOON SALT
    • 1 1/2 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
    • 1/2 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
    • 1 CUP SUGAR
    • 2 TABLESPOONS BUTTER, MELTED
    • 1 EGG, BEATEN
    • 3/4 CUP ORANGE JUICE
    • 1 CUP RAW CRANBERRIES, CHOPPED
    • 1 CUP WALNUTS, CHOPPED


    Instructions


    1. PREHEAT OVEN 350 DEGREES
    2. GREASE AND FLOUR LOAF PAN
    3. MIX TOGETHER DRY INGREDIENTS.
    4. MIX BUTTER, EGG, ORANGE JUICE TOGETHER, ADD TO DRY INGREDIENTS.
    5. MIX WELL.
    6. ADD CRANBERRIES AND NUTS.
    7. POUR INTO PREPARED LOAF PAN
    8. BAKE FOR ABOUT 1 HOUR.


    Final Comments


    THIS BREAD FREEZES WELL. CAN ALSO BE MADE INTO MINI LOAVES, BAKE ONLY 25-30 MINUTES. DOUBLE THE RECIPE AND IT CAN BE BAKED IN A TUBE PAN.
