- 1 CUP BUTTER OR MARGARINE
- 2 CUPS SUGAR
- 4 EGGS
- 3 CUPS FLOUR
- 2 TEASPOONS BAKING POWDER
- 1/4 TEASPOON SALT
- 1 CUP MILK
- 2 TEASPOONS VANILLA
Instructions
- THOROUGHLY CREAM BUTTER AND SUGAR.
- ADD EGGS ONE AT A TIME, BEATING AFTER EACH ADDITION.
- ADD DRY INGREDIENTS ALTERNATELY WITH MILK AND VANILLA.
- POUR INTO 2 GREASED ROUND CAKE PANS
- BAKE 350 DEGREES FOR 30 TO 35 MINUTES.
- FROST WITH DESIRED FROSTING.
