- 2 CUPS FLOUR
- 1 3/4 CUP SUGAR
- 1/4 CUP COCOA
- 1 TSP. BAKING SODA
- 1 TSP. SALT
- 2 TSP. VANILLA
- 3 EGGS
- 3/4 CUP SOFTENED BUTTER
- 1/2 CUP SOUR MILK
- 1 CUP COCA COLA
- 1 1/2 CUPS MINATURE MARSHMALLOWS
- ICING;
- 1/4 CUP SOFTENED BUTTER
- 3 TABLESPOONS COCOA
- 1/4 CUP COLA
- 2 CUPS POWDERED SUGAR
- 1 CUP PECANS
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES.
- IN LARGE BOWL, MEASURE ALL INGREDIENTS EXCEPT COLA AND MARSHMALLOWS.
- BLEND WELL AT LOWEST SPEED, BEAT 1 MINUTE AT MEDIUM SPEED
- HEAT COLA AND MARSHMALLOWS IN SAUCEPAN UNTIL MARSHMALLOWS MELT.
- ADD COLA TO DRY MIXTURE, BLEND WELL.
- SPREAD BATTER INTO WELL GREASED 13X9 INCH PAN.
- BAKE ABOUT 40 MINUTES OR UNTIL WOODEN PICK INSERTED COMES OUT CLEAN.
- COOL ABOUT 30 MINUTES THEN SPREAD ON ICING.
- ICING; IN SMALL MIXER BOWL, COMBINE 1/4 CUP SOFTENED BUTTER,
- 3 TABLESPOONS COCOA, 1/4 CUP COLA, AND 2 CUPS POWDERED SUGAR.
- BEAT UNTIL SMOOTH. IF DESIRED STIR IN TOASTED PECANS.
