COCONUT POUND CAKE
List of Ingredients
- 2 3/4 CUPS SUGAR
- 1 1/4 CUPS BUTTER
- 1 TEASPOON VANILLA
- 5 EGGS
- 3 CUPS FLOUR
- 1 TEASPOON SALT
- 1 CUP MILK
- 1 CUP COCONUT
- 1 TABLESPOON COCONUT EXTRACT
Instructions
- BEAT SUGAR AND BUTTER UNTIL CREAMY.
- ADD VANILLA AND EGGS, BEAT WELL.
- ADD SALT TO FLOUR, ADD ALTERNATELY WITH MILK AND COCONUT EXTRACT.
- MIX WELL, BLEND IN COCONUT.
- POUR INTO GREASED AND FLOURED BUNT PAN OR TWO LOAF PANS
- BAKE 350 DEGREES ABOUT 1 HOUR 10 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN.
