- 2/3 CUP SHORTENING
- 1 TEASPOON SALT
- 1 TABLESPOON SOFTENED BUTTER
- ICED WATER
Instructions
- IN LARGE BOWL, BLEND FLOUR, SALT, CRISCO, AND BUTTER.
- USE TWO KITCHEN KNIVES IF YOU DON'T HAVE A PASTRY BLENDER.
- GRADUALLY ADD WATER TO MAKE INTO PIE DOUGH CONSISTANCY.
- FORM SMALL BALL.
- ROLL ON FLOURED SURFACE THEN LINE PIE PAN.
- THIS MAKES A DOUBLE CRUST.
Final Comments
ANY LEFT OVER DOUGH CAN BE ROLLED OUT PLACED ON A COOKIE SHEET, SPREAD TOP WITH BUTTER AND SPRINKLE GENEROUSLY WITH CINNAMON AND SUGAR THEN BAKE.
