    List of Ingredients


    • 3 GARLIC CLOVES, MINCED
    • 1 CUP CHOPPED ONIONS
    • 2/3 CUP CHOPPED CARROTS
    • 1 TABLESPOON COOKING OIL
    • 3 CUPS CHICKEN BROTH
    • 1 CUP REGULAR PEARL BARLEY
    • 1/4 TEASPOON SALT
    • 1/8 TEASPOOON PEPPER
    • 2 CUPS FROZEN CORN, THAWED
    • 1/2 CUP CHOPPED FRESH PARSLEY


    Instructions


    1. IN A SKILLET OVER MEDIUM HEAT,SAUTE THE GARLIC, ONION AND CARROTS IN OIIL TIL TENDER.
    2. TRANSFER TO GREASED 2 QUART BAKING DISH;
    3. ADD BROTH, BARLEY,SALT AND PEPPER.
    4. MIX WELL.
    5. COVER AND BAKE AT 350 DEGREES ABOUT 10-15 MINUTES.
    6. BARLEY SHOULD BE TENDER AND CORN HEATED THROUGH
    7. SERVES 12
