    THIS IS GREAT TO MAKE AHEAD AND FREEZE BEFORE THE BIG GATHERING OF THE CLAN. JUST DOUBLE, TRIPLE, ETC. TO MAKE AS MUCH AS YOU WANT THEN FREEZE AND HAVE TIME TO DO MORE PROJECTS JUST BEFORE YOU NEED TO FEED EVERYONE.


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 JARS INEXPENSIVE SPAGHETTI SAUCE
    • 1 LARGE CAN CRUSHED TOMATOES
    • 2 COOKED ITALIAN SAUSAGES, SLICED
    • 16 OUNCES RICOTTA CHEESE
    • 1 CUP PARMESEAN CHEESE
    • 16 OUNCES MOZZERALLA CHEESE, SLICED OR SHREDDED
    • 1 EGG
    • 1 TABLESPOON PARSLEY
    • 1 LARGE PACKAGE LAZAGNA NOODLES


    Instructions


    1. MIX SPAGHETTI SAUCE,CRUSHED TOMATOES AND ANY EXTRA SEASONINGS YOUR FAMILY MAY LIKE INTO A LARGE POT.
    2. COOK ITALIAN SAUSAGE, DRAIN AND SLICE
    3. BROWN GROUND BEEF, DRAIN WELL.
    4. ADD MEATS TO SPAGHETTI SAUCE.
    5. SIMMER AND HEAT THROUGHLY
    6. USING 9X13X2 INCH PAN, POUR SMALL AMOUNT OF SAUCE ON BOTTOM OF DISH
    7. MIX RICOTTA CHEESE, PARMESEAN CHEESE , EGG AND PARSLEY IN SMALL BOWL.
    8. PLACE UNCOOKED NOODLES ON TOP OF SAUCE IN BAKING DISH,ABOUT 3 OR 4.
    9. TOP NOODLES WITH COATING OF CHEESE MIX,
    10. TOP WITH SAUCE, CONTINUE LAYERING ABOUT FOUR MORE TIMES.
    11. COVER ENTIRE CASSEROLE WITH WATER, ABOUT 2 CUPS.
    12. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES COVERED WITH FOIL ABOUT 1 HOUR, UNCOVER LAST 15 MINUTES. LET SET ABOUT 10 MINUTES BEFORE CUTTING.
    13. IF YOU FREEZE THIS YOU MUST COOK IT AN EXTRA HOUR.
    14. DO NOT TRY TO MICROWAVE THIS THE FIRST TIME AS THE NOODLES WILL JUST BECOME GOOOY

    FREQUENTLY WHEN THE FAMILY PLANS TO GATHER,EVEN IN THE SUMMER, I MAKE THIS AND KEEP IT IN THE FREEZER, IT IS EASY TO POP IN THE OVEN WHENEVER EVERYONE GATHERS AT THE DINNER TABLE THE SAME DAY.
