FINGER PAINTS

List of Ingredients



• unflavored gelatine
  
• water
  
• cornstarch
  
• dishwashing liquid
  
• asst. food colorings
  
• 4 to 6 small jars or plastic containers with wide mouths
  
• freezer paper
  






Instructions



1. Stir 1 envelope of gelatin into 1/3 cup cold water; set aside.
   
2. Put the cornstarch into a saucepan and stir in 2 1/2 cups cold water until dissolved.
   
3. Bring mixture to a simmer and stir continuously until fully thickened.
   
4. Remove pan from heat, blend in the gelatin mixture followed by the 4 tablespoons of dishwashing liquid.
   
5. Let the mixture cool down a bit; then ladle it into the jars or containers.
   
6. Into each jar stir in a different food color.
   
7. Be generous with the food coloring.
   
8. For storage; cover each jar and store at room temperature. Do not freeze.
   
9. Use the shinny side of freezer paper to paint.
