List of Ingredients
- 1 PACKAGE (4 SERVINGS) INSTANT PUDDING *
- 1 CUP BISQUICK
- 1/4 CUP CRISCO
- 1 EGG
- 3 TABLESPOONS MILK
- *NOTE: IF USING CHOCOLATE INSTANT PUDDING USE ONLY 2 TABLESPOONS OF MILK.
Instructions
- COMBINE PUDDING MIX AND BISQUICK IN A BOWL.
- CUT IN SHORTENING UNTIL MIXTURE RESEMBLES COARSE MEAL.
- STIR IN EGG AND MILK, BLEND WELL.
- DROP FROM TEASPOONS ONTO UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET OR
- ROLL DOUGH INTO 1 INCH BALLS AND FLATTEN WITH FORK OR GLASS BOTTOM DIPPED IN SUGAR.
- BAKE AT 350 DEGREES ABOUT 10 TO 12 MINUTES.
- VARIATIONS:
- PINEAPPLE NUT; PREPARE AS DIRECTED USING VANILLA PUDDING, REDUCING THE MILK TO 2 TABLESPOONS AND
- STIRRING IN 1/2 CUP DRAINED CRUSHED PINEAPPLE AND 1/2 CUP CHOPPED NUTS
- ORANGE-COCONUT;PREPARE AS DIRECTED USE VANILLA PUDDING
- AND STIR IN 1/2 CUP FLAKED COCONUT AND 1 TABLESPOON GRATED ORANGE PEEL.
- TUTTI-FRUITTI; USE VANILLA PUDDING, ADD 1/2 CUP CHOPPED MIXED CANDIED FRUIT.
- CHOCOLATE PEANUT; USE CHOCOLATE PUDDING, ADD 1/2 CUP CHOPPED PEANUTS.
- PEANUT BUTTER SCOTCH; USE BUTTERSCOTCH PUDDING ADD 1/3 CUP CHUNKY PEANUT BUTTER.
