- CRUST:
- 1/2 UP BUTTER OR MARGARINE
- 1 CUP FLOUR
- 2/3 CUPS FINELY CHOPPED NUTS
- FILLING:
- 1 CUP CONFECTIONERS SUGAR
- 1 (8 OUNCE) PACKAGE CREAM CHEESE SOFTENED
- 1 CARTON (8 OUNCES) FROZEN WHIPPED TOPPING, THAWED AND DIVIDED
- SECOND FILLING LAYER:
- 2 PACKAGES (3.9 OUNCES) CHOCOLATE PUDDING MIX
- 2 3/4 CUPS COLD MILK
- TOPPING;
- REMAINING WHIPPED TOPPING
- GRATED SEMI SWEET CHOCOLATE OR MINI CHIPS
Instructions
- CUT BUTTER INTO FLOUR UNTIL CRUMBLY, STIR IN NUTS.
- PRESS INTO THE BOTTOM OF A GREASED 13X9X2 INCH PAN
- BAKE 350 DEGREES 15 TO 20 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN.
- COOL COMPLETELY.
- FOR FIRST FILLING:
- BEAT SUGAR AND CREAM CHEESE UNTIL SMOOTH.
- FOLD IN 1 CUP WHIPPED TOPPING.
- SPREAD OVER CRUST.
- FOR SECOND FILLING;
- MIX PUDDING WITH MILK. IF USING COOKED PUDDING, COOL COMPLETELY BEFORE USING.
- SPREAD PUDDING OVER FILLING #1.
- TOP WITH REMAINING WHIPPED TOPPING.
- SPRINKLE WITH CHOCOLATE, CHOCOLATE CHIPS AND OR EXTRA NUTS FOR DECORATION.
- COVER AND REGRIGERATE 4 HOURS OR OVERNIGHT.
