ROLLED "POT ROAST"
THIS IS A NEW TWIST ON AN OLD FAVORITE, I LEARNED WHILE IN GERMANY. MY FAMILY LOVES THIS.
List of Ingredients
- FAMILY SIZED ROUND STEAK, TENDERIZED
- 1 POTATO FOR EACH PERSON
- 2 CARROTS FOR EACH PERSON
- 1 ONION
- SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE
Instructions
- LAY TENDERIZED MEAT OUT ON FLAT SURFACE.
- PLACE ALL VEGETABLE IN FOOD PROCESSOR TO SHREDD.
- PLACE SHREDDED VEGETABLES IN MEAT, SALT AND PEPPER.
- ROLL UP JELLY ROLL FASHION AND SECURE SHUT WITH TOOTHPICKS.
- PLACE IN COVERED BAKING PAN, ADD JUST ENOUGH WATER TO COVER THE BOTTOM.
- BAKE AT 350 DEGREES ABOUT 45 TO 60 MINUTES.
Final Comments
WE USUALLY LIKE EXTRA VEGETABLES SO I PLACE SHREDDED VEGETABLES AROUND THE FILLED-ROLLED MEAT AND COOK ALL TOGETHER. MAKES IT'S OWN GRAVY.
