Very fond memories of Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa's house are associated with this cookie recipe.


List of Ingredients




3/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoons salt
1 3/4 cup flour
chocolate mint wafers (like Ghirardelli's)

Recipe



Mix. Chill one hour. Shape into one-inch balls. Press a chocolate mint wafer in center of each. Bake in 400 dgree oven 8-10 minutes.

Makes 4 dozen
