    I nicked this recipe off the web. For the final steps, my biscotti baking experience tells me to carefully slice the loaf with a serrated knife, and place each slice upright on a baking sheet and bake again for 10-12 mins. Biscotti, after all, are "twice baked".

    List of Ingredients




    1 1/2 cups flour
    1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 cup butter, softened
    1/2 cup Splenda granular
    2 egg, large
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1/2 cup almond, sliced, roughly chopped (not too small)
    2 tablespoons milk

    Recipe



    1. Preheat oven to 350.
    2. Combine dry ingredients and set aside.
    3. Use mixer to beat butter and splenda till light.
    4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
    5. Add vanilla, stir.
    6. Remove bowl from mixer and stir in 1/2 of the flour mixture.
    7. Stir in milk.
    8. Add remaining flour mixture and combine well.
    9. Add chopped almonds and mix inches.
    10. Make into biscotti loaf or use the Pipe-N-Bake Biscotti pan like we do.
    11. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
    12. We like our biscotti soft, but if you don't you can put biscotti on a cookie sheet and return to the oven for 10 more minutes to crisp them.
