Dimitri's Pork Roast w/ kraut (Crockpot)

List of Ingredients
"1. Put a Boston Butt or Picnic in a 450 oven till brown (dry on a rack)
2. Put a can or package of Kraut on the bottom of a crock pot
3. Rough chop an onion & mix with the kraut.
4. remove 1 handful of the kraut/onion mix
5. when the meat is brown place on top of the kraut onion mix.
6. place the reserved O&K mix on top of the roast.
7. add 1/2 to 1 cup white wine or dry vermouth.
8. cover and cook on high 8+ hours or low 12 hours.
9. when done thicken the juice with a slurry of cornstarch & add 1 to 2 tablespoons Dijon (to taste) (tammy's note: YEAH RIGHT, like THAT'S ever gonna happen!!)
