    Scantily frosted a 9" round layer cake. I will do a 1.5 multiple next time. Tastes very light and not too sweet. I didn't have skim milk, used half/half.

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup butter
    1/2 cup shortening
    1 cup sugar
    1 egg white -- beaten foamy*
    2/3 cup skim milk -- lukewarm
    1 teaspoon vanilla

    1. With electric mixer, cream together the butter, shortening, and
    sugar.
    2. Add egg white and beat well.
    3. Add milk and vanilla, and beat for 10 minutes.
