    Chewy Bars

    I got this recipe from a fellow recipecircus member. It is quick and easy.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pkg. jiffy yellow cake mix
    • 1/4 cup brown sugar
    • 1 tablespoon margarine
    • 1 tablespoon corn syrup
    • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (I add more)
    • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (if I have them on hand)
    • 1 egg
    • 1 tablespoon water
    • 2 talbespoons flour


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Grease 8x8 pan.
    3. In small bowl blend all ingredients well.
    4. Spread in prepared pan.
    5. Bake 25-30 minutes.
    6. Cool and cut into bars.
