Quick Caramel Frosting
List of Ingredients
2/3 cup butter or margarine
1 cup firmly packed Domino® Dark Brown Sugar
1/2 cup milk
3 3/4 cups Confectioners Sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
Melt butter in saucepan. Add brown sugar and milk and heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil gently for 5 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Blend in confectioners sugar, beating until smooth. Add vanilla and continue beating until spreading consistency.
Makes about 2 1/2 cups; enough to fill and frost a 2-layer cake, 13x9x2 inch sheetcake, or 24 cupcakes
