    1 pound ground beef, browned and drained
    1 medium head of cabbage, cut in small pieces
    1 (14.5 ounce) can carrots
    1 (15.25 ounce) can whole kernel corn
    1 (14.5 ounce) can green beans
    1 (14.5 ounce) can green peas
    1 (14.5 ounce) can sliced potatoes
    1 (14.5 ounce) can mixed vegetables
    1 (14.5 ounce) can asparagus pieces
    1 (46 ounce) can tomato juice
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 teaspoon onion powder or 1 small onion chopped
    salt and pepper to taste

    Recipe



    Put all the ingredients in a large soup pot. Do not drain the liquid from the vegetables. Cook until the cabbage is tender. Makes about 2 gallons of soup. Makes 12 servings.
