    Rich chocolate flavour and a hint of flavour from the pecans. The sauce is smooth and dark.

    List of Ingredients




    9 ounces butter (not margarine), chopped
    8 semi-sweet chocolate baking squares, chopped

    2-1/4 cups granulated sugar
    5 large eggs, fork beaten
    3/4 cup pecans, chopped

    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 cup cocoa, sifted if lumpy

    FUDGE SAUCE:
    3/4 cup whipping cream
    8 semi-sweet chocolate baking squares, chopped
    12 large marshmallows, chopped

    Recipe



    Combine butter and chocolate in large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave, uncovered, on High (100%) for about 2 minutes, stirring twice during cooking, until melted. Cool.

    Add sugar, eggs and pecans. Mix well.

    Add flour, baking powder and cocoa. Mix well. Pour chocolate mixture into greased 8 x 12 inch microwave-safe dish. Microwave, uncovered, on Medium (50%) for about 15 minutes, turning dish at halftime if microwave doesn't have a turntable, until almost set in middle. Cool. Cover. Chill for at least 8 hours or overnight. Cut into 28 triangles.

    FUDGE SAUCE: Combine whipping cream, chocolate and marshallows in medium microwave-safe dish. Microwave, uncovered, on High (100%) for 1 minute. Stir. Microwave, uncovered, on Medium (50%) for 1 to 2 minutes until marshmallows are melted. Stir. Makes about 1-2/3 cups sauce. Drizzle over brownies.
