Pasta Carrabba
Ingredients:
4 T unsalted butter
2 cloves minced garlic
3 cups sliced mushrooms
1 cup peas
31/2 cups heavy whipping cream
3 8oz. chicken breasts, cooked and cubed
1 pound penne pasta
2 cups grated Romano cheese
crumbled bacon
salt and pepper to taste
Recipe
Directions:
· Melt butter in large skillet, add garlic, and sauté for a few seconds to infuse butter with garlic. Add mushrooms and sauté for 3 min. over medium flame.
· Cook penne pasta in salted boiling water until dente (13 min.). Drain when done.
· Add heavy cream, peas, bacon, and chicken to sauce. Bring to a boil. Add pasta to sauce. Sprinkle cheese evenly over pasta and toss until sauce is a creamy consistency.
· Add salt and pepper to taste!!
