ABM Basic Pizza Dough

Recipe Introduction
Makes 1-1/2 lbs. of pizza dough (enough for 1 large pizza, medium, not
too thick crust)
List of Ingredients
Put ingredients in the bread pan in order listed
1 cup warm water
4 Tbsp. olive or vegtable oil (don't skimp on this, it's what makes the
dough stretchy and easy to work with)
3 to 4 cups all-purpose or bread flour (you'll need to play with this a
bit; if you've never made pizza dough, it should have a "springy" feel
to it when you are done with the kneading process; it shouldn't be too
dry, nor too wet; in hot humid temps you may really need to keep an eye
on this closely and you may need up to 5 cups of flour)
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. granulated sugar or Splenda
3 tsp. yeast
3 Tbsp. minced garlic (optional) (3 good sized fresh cloves should do
the trick)
1/4 cup grated Romano or Parmesan cheese (optional)
(these two ingredients add A LOT of flavor!)
Recipe
Put ingredients in the bread pan in the order listed. Select DOUGH or
PIZZA DOUGH cycle.
Once done, let the dough rest inside the machine about 1/2 an hour
because it will be easier to handle. Using a paper towel, grease a
large bowl with vegtable oil and turn dough out into the bowl. Roll
the dough around the boil to collect some of the oil (makes the dough
softer.) Press dough into pan and top with pizza sauce and your
favorite toppings.
