    2 cups rolled oats
    1 cup flour
    1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1/3 cup butter
    1/3 cup cold water

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    In food processor, or blender, place 1/2 cup oats in bowl or
    container. Cover and process or blend until reduced to a powder.
    Transfer to a large bowl. Repeat with remaining oats. You should have
    about 1 1/2 cups oat flour.

    Add flour, brown sugar and baking powder to the oat flour. Stir until
    thoroughly combined. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse
    crumbs.

    Make a well in the center of the flour mixture. Add cold water all at
    once. Using a fork, stir until the mixture can be gathered into a
    ball. Divide dough in half.

    On a lightly floured surface, roll half of dough out to a 1/8-inch
    thickness. Using a 2-inch biscuit cutter, cut out dough and place
    rounds on an ungreased baking sheet. Prick crackers with a fork.

    Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until done. Remove crackers from baking
    sheet and cool on a wire rack. Makes about 48 crackers.
