1 c yellow cornmeal
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp brown sugar, packed
2/3 c water
3 TB butter
Recipe
Mix cornmeal, salt and pepper in med bowl; set aside. Combine sugar,
water
and butter small saucepan; heat until butter is melted and liquid comes
to a
rolling boil. Remove from heat; pour into cornmeal mixture and stir
well.
Use a 1-1/2” cookie scoop to place mounts on lightly greased baking
sheets.
Use a glass to flatten to 1/4” thick. Bake at 375 for 20 mins. Makes
4-6.
Can be served with a pot of pinto beans and ham hocks on a cold winter
night
