CAKE MIX CINNAMON ROLLS

1 box white or yellow cake mix
2 1/2 c. warm water
2 pkgs. dry yeast
1/3 c. oil
3 eggs
1 tbsp. salt
1 c. flour plus 5 1/2 c. flour
Recipe
In a large bowl, beat the water, cake mix, salt, yeast, oil, eggs, and
1 cup flour. Use electric beater. Add 5 1/2 cups flour and mix by hand
with a big spoon to make a nice round dough ball. Grease lightly and
let rise in a warm place 1 hour or so.
Punch down and let rise again. Melt butter. Make a mixture of 1 cup
sugar and 2 or 3 teaspoons cinnamon. When the dough is raised, toss on
floured board and pat it down. Cut in half lengthwise. Roll each half
into a long rectangle. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle 1/2 cup
sugar- cinnamon mixture on it.
Roll up like jelly roll and cut into 1 inch slices. Place on buttered
pan and brush lightly with oil. Let rise in a warm place and bake in a
preheated 350 degree oven 25 to 30 minutes or until done. Drizzle with
powdered sugar icing.
