1 package yeast or 2 1/4 teaspoons
1 1/2 cups warm water
3 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup dry milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
3 tablespoons butter
4 cups flour
cornmeal
Recipe
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add next five ingredients, blend in
flour. Let rise until double in bulk. Punch down and shape into
muffins flattening slightly. Oil griddle and lightly scatter with
cornmeal. Cook muffins as you would pancakes, turning when golden.
