    3 cups sugar
    1 cup butter
    1/2 cup solid shortening
    6 large eggs
    1 t. vanilla
    1 cup milk
    3 cups flour
    1 t. baking powder
    1 cup walnuts

    Recipe



    In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, butter, shortening, eggs,
    vanilla and
    milk. In another bowl, thoroughly mix flour, and baking powder. Add to
    milk
    mixture. Fold in walnuts and blend. Pour batter into a lightly oiled
    tube
    pan. Bake at 325 for one hour or until done.
