    1 pound ground beef
    1 large chopped onion
    10 3/4 ounces cream of chicken soup, condensed
    4 ounces mushrooms, canned stems and pieces
    3/4 cup milk
    1 small green bell pepper, chopped
    1/2 cup pitted ripe olives, sliced
    2 tablespoons soy sauce
    2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
    1/8 teaspoon pepper
    5 ounces egg noodles, cooked and drained
    1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 cup chow mein noodles
    1/2 cup mixed salted nuts

    Recipe



    Cook ground beef and onion until beef is light brown; drain. Stir in
    soup, mushrooms (with liquid(, milk, green pepper, olives, soy sauce,
    Worcestershire sauce, pepper and egg noodles. Pour into an ungreased
    2-quart casserole dish; sprinkle with cheese. Cover and bake at 350
    degrees F for 50 minutes. Top with chow mein noodles and mixed nuts.
    Cook uncovered 10 minutes.

    Do-Ahead: After sprinkling cheese over casserole ingredients, cover
    and refrigerate no longer than 24 hours. Follow above directions.
