1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/3 cup canned chicken broth
(we use 1/3 teaspoon
Better Than Bouillon Chicken
Base and 1/3 cup hot water)
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
2 TBS frozen pineapple juice concentrate
1 TBS soy sauce
1 tsp minced garlic (we like to use the
Badia brand of Minced Garlic in oil
that we always have handy in the
refrigerator)
1/4 tsp ground ginger
2 TBS sugar
Recipe
Combine cornstarch and chicken broth
in a nonreactive saucepan.
Over medium heat, bring to a boil
stirring until thickened.
Stir in remaining ingredients and cook
about 2 minutes longer, stirring occasionally.
Makes about 1 cup.
