2/3 cup apple juice -- see directions
1/3 cup water
1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons brown sugar
Recipe
In a small saucepan, combine unsweetened apple juice, water and
cornstarch.
Stir to dissolve cornstarch. Add cinnamon and brown sugar. Stirring
constantly, bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Keep hot until ready
to
serve. To make ahead, cool syrup. Pour into a container with a tight
fitting
lid. Cover tightly and refrigerate up to 3 days. Makes 1 cup.
