    COOKIES FOR DESSERT

    List of Ingredients




    3/4 cup Butter
    2 cup Brown sugar
    2 Eggs
    1 tsp Vanilla
    4 cups Flour
    1 tsp Cream of tartar
    1 tsp Baking soda
    1/2 tsp Salt


    -----FILLING----

    2 cups Dates
    1/2 cup Warm water
    Butter size of walnut
    1 tsp Vanilla
    1/2 cup Walnuts

    Recipe



    Roll out Pastry and spread with filling.

    Roll up like jelly roll.

    Chill, slice thin and bake in moderate
    (350 F) oven.

    ~~ Filling:

    Mix first 3 ingredients (dates, walnuts &
    butter).

    Cook until smooth, add vanilla and walnuts.
