    1 cup margarine or butter
    Sugar
    3/4 t. soda
    1/2 t. salt
    1 t. vanilla
    3 eggs, beaten
    3 &2/3 cup sifted flour
    2 t. baking powder

    Recipe



    Cream butter and 2 cups sugar with soda, salt and vanilla. Add beaten
    eggs
    and beat until smooth. Sift together flour and baking powder. Add to
    creamed
    mixture. Mix until smooth. Chill dough until firm enough to roll on
    floured
    pastry cloth. Sprinkle with sugar and cut into fancy cookie shapes with
    cookie cutters. Put on greased baking sheets and bake at 450 for 8
    minutes
    or until cookies are golden.
