    1 c. margarine (room
    temperature)
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. smooth peanut butter
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt

    Recipe



    Combine margarine, sugar, peanut butter and eggs; blend
    well. Sift flour once before measuring and then sift with soda
    and salt. Shape dough into long rolls about 3-inches in
    diameter. Cover with waxed paper. Chill thoroughly. When
    chilled, slice and bake in 400 degrees oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Makes 5 to 6 dozen cookies.
