List of Ingredients
2 lb. lean ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
2 TB oil
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
1 can (15 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1-1/2 cups elbow macaroni
2 cups water
1 tsp. salt
Ground black pepper
Grated Parmesan cheese

In a large skillet or Dutch oven that has a lid, on medium heat add oil
and
then brown onion about 2 minutes; add bell pepper and cook another
minute. Add
ground beef and with a spoon stir and breaking up into small bits; cook
until
the meat is well done. If there's a lot of fat, drain.
Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, macaroni, salt and pepper. Cover
with a
lid and cook about 30 minutes, stirring often.
Remove from heat and allow setting with the lid on about 30 minutes
before
serving, this really helps to blend all the flavors.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve.
