Recipe Introduction
***Can use chicken flavored white sauce from the 30 Day Freezer
Gourmet Cookbook instead of the condensed Cream of Chicken soup. Also,
I'd serve some salsa on the side with this meal because it is bland.
List of Ingredients
8 flour tortillas -- 10-inch size
6 cups cooked chicken -- diced
84 ounces cream of chicken soup -- condensed
2 cups cheddar cheese -- shredded
Recipe
In the bottom of either pan(s), place 1 cup of the condensed soup or
sauce to moisten bottom layer. Tear or cut tortillas into strips and
place in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pans. For round pans, the tortillas
may be left whole. Layer half the tortillas into pans. Layer half the
diced chicken over tortillas. Pour 1/2 the sauce over chicken. Repeat
with the layers ending with the sauce. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese over
top.
To freeze: Seal tightly and freeze.
To serve: Thaw completely and bake at 350 degrees F for 20 30
minutes.
