Freezer Baking Powder Biscuits

2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
2/3 c. milk
1 egg
Recipe
Blend together flour, baking powder, cream of tartar and salt. Cut in
shortening until pea-sized lumps are obtained. Beat together the milk
and egg and stir into dry ingredients to make soft dough. Roll to
desired thickness, cut and freeze. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 15
minutes. For baking the biscuits are placed on cookie sheets direct
from
freezer. Put in oven as soon as it is turned on. Do not preheat.
