    5 eggs
    1 1/4 cups milk
    1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    16 slices white bread

    Recipe



    Beat eggs, milk, sugar and salt until mixed. Dip bread slices in egg
    mixture; arrange on buttered baking sheets. Bake until underside is
    golden brown, about 5 minutes. Turn slices; bake until golden brown,
    about 2 minutes. Can be served immediately OR cool on wire racks.
    Place in a single layer on baking sheets. Freeze until hard, about 2
    hours. Wrap. label and return to freezer.

    To Serve: 15 minutes before serving, heat oven to 375 degrees F.

    Remove Freezer French Toast from freezer and unwrap; place on
    ungreased baking sheets. Heat until hot, 8 to 10 minutes. Or, small
    quantities can be reheated in the toaster.

    Serves 8.
