Sugar 1 Cup Water 1 1/2 Cup Freshly squeezed lemon juiceRecipe
Assembly:
In a saucepan, stir together the sugar and water. Cook until it boils,
and the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to cool. When
the mixture is cool, stir in the lemon juice. Freezing: Put the
concentrate in a rigid container or freezer bag. Seal, label and
freeze. Serving: Thaw the concentrate. Add it to a pitcher, with 5 C.
cold water. Add ice and stir to mix. If desired, garnish with lemon
slices and fresh mint, OR To serve by the glass... thaw the
concentrate. Combine 1/3 C. of concentrate with 1/4 C. cold water.
Stir and add lots of ice. Garnish with a fresh lemon wedge, if
desired.
