List of Ingredients
3 cups chicken broth
1 1/2 cups skim milk
3/4 pound elbow macaroni
1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 1/2 cups frozen peas
1/2 pound Canadian bacon -- cubed
8 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese
Recipe
In a large saucepan, mix together chicken broth, milk and macaroni and
bring to a boil. Cook 10 minutes, stirring often. Blend together
cornstarch with 5 tablespoons water. Stir into pan and continue
cooking and stirring until mixture comes to a full boil. Add peas and
Canadian bacon. Mix well and remove pan from heat. Add cheese and stir
a couple more minutes (1 to 2 minutes) to combine.
To Freeze: Spoon into freezer containers. Seal, label and freeze.
To Serve: Thaw and warm over medium heat until heated through.
Serves 6.
