Make-Ahead Salisbury Patties

2 pounds ground beef
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 1/2 bread crumbs -- dry or soft
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2/3 cup water
2 packages gravy, dry mix, brown
Recipe
Combine ground beef, soup mix, bread crumbs, garlic powder,
worcestershire sauce and black pepper. A stand mixer is great for
this! Shape into 10 equal sized balls. Shape each ball into an oval
patty. Brown patties in skillet sprayed with nonstick cooking spray,
about 4 minutes per side or until juices run clear.
To freeze: Cool patties and then store in freezer bags or rigid
containers.
To serve: Prepare gravy according to package directions in a skillet.
Add thawed patties and simmer patties until heated through. Serve over
mashed potatoes, rice or noodles.
