Recipe Introduction
My mom likes to parboil the peppers first, so that's an
option as well.
List of Ingredients
4 large or 6 small green peppers -- cut in half and cored.
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion
1 can tomato sauce
1-2 cups of cooked rice (white or brown)
salt and pepper to taste
Recipe
Brown the beef and onions in a frying pan. Stir in the tomato sauce
and rice. Place the halved/cored peppers in a baking pan. Spoon the
rice mixture into the peppers and bake or freeze (350 for about 20-25
minutes).
