5 1/2 cups of oats
1 cup coconut shredded
1 cup slivered almonds
Mix above together in a big bowl.
3/4 cup canola oil
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup honey
2-3 teaspoons of vanilla.
Recipe
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Mix the oil, sugar and honey together and microwave a few minutes 2-3.
Then
stir to help dissolve sugar. Add vanilla and stir together. Pour over
oats
in the bowl and mix.
Pour out onto a big jelly roll pan and spread to an even layer. Shake
over
all with a cinnamon/sugar mixture. Bake at 300 degrees for 30-40
minutes,
stirring every 10 minutes. Put into a grocery brown paper bag and
shake to
remove excess oil. Store in airtight container or plastic bags when
cooled.
