HOMEMADE CELERY SOUP

List of Ingredients
1 medium celery stalk (entire
stalk), sliced
2 c. water
1/4 c. margarine
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water, milk or cream
Recipe
In saucepan combine sliced celery, 2 cups water and
bring to a boil. Cook until celery is tender. Puree in
blender. In saucepan, melt margarine. Add flour, pepper and
salt. Cook, stirring for 2 minutes or until well blended.
Add
celery puree. Stir in either 1 cup water, 1 cup milk or 1
cup
cream. Use as directed. Serve with cornbread or bran
muffins.
