8 tablespoons granulated chicken, beef or onion bouillon
2 cups sifted flour
1/4 teaspoon pepperRecipe
Combine the ingredients; place half in a blender container; whirl into
a powder; repeat for the other half of ingredients. if using a food
processor, whirl all at once. Store in a jar; label with directions;
store, indefinitely, at room temperature.
To use: Pour 3/4 cup water into a saucepan; heat gently. Put 1/4 cup
plus 2 teaspoons mix into a jar; add 1 cup cold water; shake until
smooth. Slowly pour the jar's mixture into the water in the saucepan;
heat and stir until thick and smooth. Add a few drops of Gravy Master
or Kitchen Bouquet for coloring, and if you wish, add a pat of butter
for a creamy texture.
