Barbecued Beef Strips

2 pounds round steak -- 1/8-inch strips
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 cups tomato sauce
1/3 cup water
2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 medium thinly sliced onion
Recipe
Slice round steak in strips 1/8-inch thick or thinner and 3 to 4 inches
long. Brown strips in oil. Drain off drippings. Combine tomato sauce,
water,
brown sugar, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Add sauce and onion.
Stir.
Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until meat is tender.
Serves 6 to 8.
